The Clark County Historical Society runs the Heritage Center, a free public museum in the heart of downtown Springfield. We’re dedicated to the collection, preservation, and interpretation of Clark County’s history. In addition to our museum, we also have a Library & Archives that is free to the public for research into local companies, families, and subjects. Our museum is open Tuesday through Friday 9AM – 4PM and Saturday 9AM – 3PM. Our Library & Archives is open Wednesday through Friday 10AM – 4PM and Saturday 10AM – 3PM.
